The event will be spread across two days:
- July saturday 5th
- July sunday 6th
Additionally, if you come a day early (friday 4th) you can visit the venue, check out the cabinets and playtest with us while we check all systems ahead of the tournament.
The event will be held at the Crazy Games arcade in Italy - more specifically in Surbo, near Lecce. The venue is a newly built, spacious, and accessible space with every commodity within walking distance. If you are wondering, yes, it also has air conditioning!
ITG Eurocup is a huge event which will gather players from all across the European continent. However, you don't need to be a pro to enjoy it! The tournament will feature many different divisions and events, which means there will be something for everyone!
New players, accomplished gamers and hardcore veterans will be able to enjoy several challenging and fun events tailored just for them.
The events planned are spread across two days.
Day 1 (saturday 5th)
- beginner division (difficulty 5 to 8, basic stuff)
- lower FA division (difficulty 7 to 11, low tech content)
- mid FA division (difficulty 9 to 13, moderate tech content)
- upper FA division (difficulty 10 to 15, high tech content)
Day 2 (sunday 6th)
- Hard FA (difficulty starting from 9, high/extreme tech content)
- Stamina (difficulty starting from 13, endurance content)
- [more may be announced in the future]
You can participate by signing up for the event. In the registration form you will be able to express your preferences for the events you are interested in.
After you successfully sign up, we'll make sure you are informed about every major update regarding the event. Your next step is downloading and playing the qualifiers.
After you sign up and pay your entry fee, you can download the qualification songs. The scores you get on these songs will determine your division and seeding, making sure you will compete in an environment appropriate for your level.
Try to score the best you can on all the six provided songs; even if you can't get high scores or pass some of them, we may still need your results for seeding and other events! Remember, the score should be representative of your skill as a player. Tryharding to inflate your scores will not be in your best interest. If a song is giving you trouble, practice the relative skillsets and come back to it later, there's plenty of time. 😁
The criteria for access and seeding is as follows:
💚 Lower FA division
• Admission: A score of at least 90% on Q1 is required to enter
• Seeding: average % between Q1, Q2 and Q3
💛 Mid FA division
• Admission: An average score of at least 96% between Q2 and Q3 is required to enter
• Seeding: average % between Q2, Q3 and Q4
💜 Upper FA division
• Admission: An average score of at least 98,50% between Q4, Q5 and Q6 is required to enter
• Seeding: average % between Q4, Q5 and Q6
👉 IMPORTANT: Make sure that decents and way offs are turned ON and play your songs with either M or X mod.
When you're confident about your scores, you can upload your scores on the submission form.
Please note that other specific events like hard tech or stamina will either have their own qualifier or make use of some of the data collected on the qualifiers provided here for access/seeding.
if you're unsure about a specific combination of mods you can always ask!
Right across the plaza you will find Crazy Bull, an american pub, restaurant & pizzeria owned by the same parent company of the arcade. You will be able to eat and drink there with a special discount.
Within 5 minutes of walking there's a mall with every product you might need: food, drinks, clothes, medicines, etc. In the same complex there's also an electronics store and a sport apparel/equipment store.
Yes! You will be able to playtest and get comfortable on our pads if you show up around 2 hours before the scheduled start of the event.
Even better, if you are already there the day before (friday 14th) you will be able to run extensive tests with us while we check all systems in advance.
Yes, everyone will compete in the same events without segregation.
💀 no.
If you couldn't make it into your target division by a very small margin, it's possibile to still be allowed in that division as a reserve. What this means is, as long as there are some vacant slots in the brackets within that division we can accomodate you.
Example: let's say the brackets are composed by 8 players each and the total players for that division amount to 29 people. Max capacity would be 32 players, so that leaves us with 3 available slots. If the slots are all occupied, then you'll need to play where you qualified.
If you didn't make into lower division and there are no more open slots/you don't feel confident moving up into the mainline event, you will be able to play in the rookie event (level 5-8).
There's plenty of time before the tournament. Try to ask if anyone nearby is able to host you for playing the qualifiers 😄 If you do not have access to a cabinet or any setup to play, we'll require some screenshots of past scores to figure out where you belong.
We want things to be sorted well in advance, so please register as soon as you know you're coming! Planning ahead is rewarded with a small discount 😊
Early registration is available until march 31st 2025 and costs € 20,00. After that date and until june 30th it's going to be € 25,00. Late registration, from july 1st onward, including registration at the venue, will be € 30,00.
The official scoring system for the tournament will be EX scoring.
The event will run on DDR upgrade cabinets running the latest ITGmania software and 1000hz input boards. The monitors will run at 160 hz for an incredibile playing experience 😉
